Brandelynn Suzanne Sears
1976 – 1999
This is a tribute to my sister Brande. Brande was born on January 15 1976. She recently lost here fight with melanoma cancer She had many interests which included outdoor activities, horses and her career.
She wanted to make sure that people understand what melanoma is and how to identify it. Most people think that the sun is the major cause, that is somewhat true but not always Brande was not a sun person she rarely was exposed to it. Her cancer was caused from a mole that she had that was irregular. She had it removed two years ago and they thought that it was cured but it had already made it into her bloodstream and spread throughout her body. By the time that she started to have the symptoms it was already in stage 4 which is the last stage of this disease. This is the hardest time to treat the disease when it has spread. Brande fought long and hard to fight this disease. She is very much missed and loved but she is in a much better place now smiling down on us from heaven. She had told me before she got real sick that she wanted to get the word out about melanoma so please take the time to check any abnormal moles you have or get checked out by a dermatologist. This is a viscous disease that most people don’t understand. Please take the time to look at the links below on how to recognize melanoma. To you out there that have melanoma now keep fighting because they will find a cure. My advice to you who are fighting melanoma is to get started on nutritional therapy. I personally think that the nutrition is really important it will keep your body strong and help you through the chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Brande we love and miss you very much!!!!!
